Alexander “Chip” Williams

Alexander “Chip” Williams passed away April 16, 2016. Chip was born June 10, 1954, in Bethesda, Maryland, and grew up in Buffalo, New York. Chip was a stock broker in Buffalo before relocating to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1989. Chip worked as a real estate agent for Mason & Morse in Aspen, and as a mortgage broker with Mountain Mortgage Centers. He was kind, gentle and loved by his friends, family and neighbors.

Chip is survived by his children John and Kelly Williams, her fiancé Oscar Medina and soon-to-be-born grandchild Skyler Oak.

John and Kelly are hosting an informal celebration of Chip’s life. We look forward to an afternoon of reminiscing over how he touched us all with his kindness. We will gather on Saturday, April 30th, from 1 to 3 PM at 0129 Emma Road, Unit E, in Basalt.
