Andrew Benjamin Strehlow

Andy “Ben Jammin” Strehlow was born in Colorado Springs. He lived there moving to Canon City, Denver and Glenwood Springs. Eight years ago he moved to California, living in Arcata and Trinity County, which he loved.

Always a hard worker, he willingly chipped in for friends and family whenever asked. Andy loved the outdoors, working with his hands, making things grow and his Broncos.

Andy joins his father, John; grandfathers, Roger and Charles; uncle, James; and grandmother, Ruby.

Andy is survived by his daughters, Milla and Sequoyah; mother, Barbara, and second father, Richard; grandmother, Dorothy; brother, Jason; sister, Monica and her husband, Justin; nephew, Bruce; maternal uncle, Chuck; paternal aunt, Cindy; step-sister, Heidi; and numerous cousins on both sides.

He died far too young. He is loved by many and will be missed by more.

Celebrations of life will be held in Manitou Springs; Arcata, California; and later at Hanging Lake, a favorite spot.

Remembrances of Andy can be shared at We will always love you, Andy.
