Andrew Lloyd Meader

Andrew Lloyd Meader passed away at his home in El Jebel on Dec. 29, 2013. Andrew was born on June 20, 1990 in Placerville, California to Scott Lloyd Meader and Maureen Shannon Crawford. Andrew married his beloved wife, Baneza Lisseth Andrades-Vargas Meader, on Oct. 5, 2013 in Glenwood Springs. Andrew and Baneza are expecting their first child, a daughter named Zofia Marie, due in Feb. 14, 2014.

Andrew was a very social person and he loved to talk politics and philosophy. Andrew attended college for five years and majored in psychology and philosophy and had a minor in English and chemistry. He loved the outdoors and animals, and also loved to cook and bake. Andrew enjoyed writing and had even published a book, “Inside the Nutshell,” along with several other poems. Andrew’s sense of humor was one of a kind and his laughter will be sorely missed.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Baneza, and their unborn daughter, Zofia. He is also survived by his parents Scott and Maureen; his brothers, Nathaniel Crawford, and Nicholas Meader; and a sister, Natasha Meader.

A Mass will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Carbondale, Colorado. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Farnum Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs.
