Anna Darlene “Dee” Jacobson

In loving memory of Anna Darlene “Dee” Jacobson. You are forever in our hearts. Born in Kimball, Minnesota. A proud farmer’s daughter, one of nine children. She met the love of her life, Marlyn “Jake,” in St. Cloud, Minnesota. They married, and soon after they moved to Bermuda and made a lifetime of memories. When her husband left the Navy, they lived in numerous places, and she worked in several different positions including food services, retail sales and banking. She was very successful in all of her endeavors. She was the mother of a son and two daughters. They retired in Grand Junction, Colorado, so they could be close to their children and grandchildren. Anna was an avid quilter and seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and sightseeing mountains. She loved the outdoors. After her husband passed away she stayed in Grand Junction, then moved to Rifle to be near her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found a lot of joy and happiness being a part of their lives. She passed away April 26, 2015, surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Rifle Funeral Home.
