Anne Marie Lawrence passed away quietly in her sleep in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 3, 2014.

Anne Marie was born to Emmett E. and Lena (Falls) Foster in Floyd County, Texas on Oct. 31, 1920 and is survived by her husband, Edwin Koester and his family of Sutton, Vermont; her brother, Wamon Foster of Hart, Texas; three children; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her children are Gerre Hay of Phoenix, Arizona, Dena Hammar of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Mark Hay of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was predeceased by her son, Mike Hay of Montrose, Colorado.

Anne Marie will be remembered for her kind and loving heart, her devotion to her family, her generous soul and her belief in the goodness of people. Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Beatitudes Life Center, 1610 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
