Ashley P. Gannett

Ashley P. Gannett, 94, of Carbondale, CO, passed away Nov. 16, 2015. Ashley moved to Carbondale in November of 2013 from Ludington, Mi. Ashley graduated from Mary Institute in 1938 and from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., in 1943. She was married to the love of her life for 67 years. Ashley is survived by her children George Gannett, Thom Gannett, Peter Gannett and Noel Gannett; her daughters-in-law Phia Gannett, Sharon Easterby-Gannett and Teresa Imhoff-Gannett; her daughter’s significant other Phillip Gallegos; her grandchildren Robert Gannett, Kathryn Golay, John Gannett and Amy Arehart; and her great-grandchildren Conner, Carter, Addison and Reese. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Glenwood Springs on December 5th at 11:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Barnabas church. She was a beautiful person who never met a stranger.
