Austin John Knox passed away on July 20, 2015 in Rifle, Colorado. He was born on January 21, 1996 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Austin grew up in Rifle and attended school there. Austin had the biggest heart and loved to make people smile and laugh. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially when there was home cooking. Austin had a great love for football, basketball, and the outdoors. He loved to ride his bike and skateboard, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Austin is survived by his mother and step-father, Kimberly and Jack Anderson, as well as his father, Kyle Knox. He is also survived by his brother, Skyler Dungan; Sister, Amber Dungan; Grandparents, Jeanette Knox, Karen and Neal Jones, and John Presley; Great-grandmother, Mildred Eusted; Nephew, Kasen and his niece, Evelynn. Other survivors include his aunts and uncles, his nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Rifle High School. A pot luck reception, and balloon releasing will follow at Metro Park in Rifle, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made to Alpine Bank in Rifle, Colorado.

A Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Friend — He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
