Barbara Ratkiewicz Snider

Barbara Ratkiewicz Snider, 60, of Rifle, Colorado, was tragically killed in a car accident December 16, 2014.

Born on May 6, 1954, in Denver, Colorado, she grew up in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and graduated High School. Barbara attended Beauty School and received her certification in Cosmetology. She later attended Colorado Mountain College and received her Associates degree in Business. Over the years she operated her own beauty salon in Rifle. Later Barbara changed professions and did bookkeeping for several business in the valley.

Barbara’s passion in life was playing Golf or spending time with her family, especially her Granddaughters.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Travis) Stout and her two darling granddaughters of Meeker, Colorado. She is also survived by three brothers, Michael Ratkiewicz of Denver, Colorado, Steve Ratkiewicz (Cory, Colorado) and Joseph Ratkiewicz (Denver, Colorado); one Great Aunt, Carmie Bloch (Greeley, Colorado) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara will be deeply missed by all that knew her. A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
