Branden Jowell died unexpectedly in a car accident on I-70 near Rifle, CO, on August 1, 2016, at the age of 42. Branden is survived by his father, Arnold Jowell; stepmother, Dolores Jowell; his sister, Sheena Lashus; his brother, Yancy Jowell; his son Kevin Moore; as well as his grandson and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Branden was born on February 26, 1974, in Glenwood Springs to Arnold and Jackie Jowell. In 1994, he had a beautiful son with his then longtime girlfriend Christina Moore. In the same year, he had a major car accident that left him in a coma for several weeks that left him disabled. In the twenty two years following, he split his time between Colorado and Arizona, where his father lived. A funeral is scheduled for 5:00 on August 5th at Fellowship Church in Grand Junction, reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Branden’s life.
