Carl U. (Dusty) Hill

Carl U. (Dusty) Hill, a Longmont, CO, resident of 30 years, passed away on Jan. 11 in Loveland, CO, at Good Samaritan Society – Loveland Village, following a long illness. Born Aug. 22, 1942, in San Francisco, CA, to Verona Ulke Hill and William Oliver Hill, who preceded him in death along with an older brother, Robin Sean (Robbie) Hill, and a daughter, Lisa Denise Hill. Dusty is survived by a daughter, Teresa Irene Becker of Santa Fe, NM, and a son, Dustin William Barrington of Fort Collins, CO, two older brothers, William Sherwood (Woody) Hill of Casper, WY, and Stephen Oliver (Steve) Hill of Ridgway, CO, and a younger sister, Anita (Neenie) Hill Reed of Spearfish, SD.

Raised in Carbondale, CO, a 1960 graduate of Roaring Fork High School, Dusty was an inventor who enjoyed rodeo and team roping competition.

A memorial service will be held at Carbondale Community UMC on Saturday, June 7 at 1 p.m. followed by a burial service at Hillcrest Cemetery.
