Service will be Wednesday, Sept. 24th, at Sonlight Foursquare Church at 2:30 pm, 0355 Mitchell Creek Road, CR 132 (towards the fish hatchery).

Daniel was born in Black Hawk, Colorado. He moved to Glenwood Springs to work. Danny worked with his brothers in Gonzales Painting. He retired around 2002. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Iris Jean; children Daniel, Michael, Lisa, Laura; sister Inez (Donald) Richard (Silvia), Johnny (Mary) Fred, Victoria Gale (Jae), Kathleen (Clarence). Angelina; and stepchildren Steve (Elaine), Rhonda (Thomas).

He is preceded in death by father John, mother Mary Carmen, stepmother Rachel, and sisters Pat and Vera.

Danny was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years and held many offices. Daniel was very instrumental in the beginning of the Thanksgiving Meals served to all who were in need. This is still continuing to this day.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #215 in memory of Daniel or Your Friends for Life (Cancer Organization P0 Box 4035 Aspen Co.) Reception will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 312 7th Street, directly after the service.
