Dennis James Romero

Dennis passed away at the age of 56 at his home while peacefully sleeping.

Dennis was a beloved husband and family member, timeless friend, world-class father, and the best brother and son anyone could have asked for. Dennis will live in memory for his altruistic giving, relentless hard work, selfless demeanor, authentic and genuine personality, and as someone who never spoke a cross word about anyone. Dennis’ passion for sports extended far beyond the softball field, where he will forever be the greatest fan and teammate. He had a very unique sense of humor, lived life to the fullest, and will never be forgotten. In his love for nature and the outdoors he would say, “When I am not indoors, that’s where you’ll find me.”

Dennis is survived by Tina Romero (Wife), Jacquelyn Romero (Daughter), Ana Marie Romero (Mother), Donnie Romero (Brother), Donna Estrada (Sister), Dolores Weaver (Sister), Cristina Romero (Sister) and all his nieces and nephews.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.”

A service will be today Feb 11, 2016, from 4pm-6pm at the Rivers Restaurant, 2525 S. Grand Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
