Dooley Peyton Wheeler Jr.

Dooley Peyton Wheeler Jr. was born April 03, 1914, in Oroville, Washington. He passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014, in Vernal, UT.

Dooley graduated from Berkeley with a Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s in geology, before marrying Ada Virginia Davison on Jan. 17, 1941.

Dooley enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. He traveled the world twice. Education was his priority. Lived his life accordingly, and accomplished everything he wanted in life. His final goal was to reach his 100th birthday. Dooley will be greatly missed.

He is survived by son Norman (Rosie) Wheeler, of Rifle, CO; daughter Marjorie (Jim) Goodman, of Vernal, UT; four granddaughters: Amanda Mathews, Salt Lake City, UT, Melissa High (Jeff), Glenwood Springs, CO, Misty Walton (Trey), Silt, CO, and Stephanie Groff (Jason); and two grandsons: Stan Fitch, Los Angeles, CA., and Frank Galvan (Alma) of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight great-grandchildren: Caden Walton, Jareett Mathews, Parker & Peyton Groff, and Rachel, Haille, Emylee, and Conner High.
