Heather M. Jay

Dear Heather,

It doesn’t seem possible that it has been 7 years since you left us, but we still remember. We remember your smile, kind heart and warm hugs.

We remember your favorite things: You loved music, pop tarts, ramen noodles, friends, Rock Band, deviled eggs, toe socks, flip flops, popcorn, sunsets, the moon, dragons, dolphins, Bing Crosby’s White Christmas, puzzles, singing into your hairbrush, Meatloaf’s “I would do anything for Love,” cuddling, sweat pants, dancing and ice cold milk.

We remember your goals also: You wanted a family, a girl’s day at the spa, to see “Phantom of the Opera” on stage, become a chiropractor, and stop people from being mean to others.

We are still amazed at what a wonderful young woman you were. We love and miss you every day, and yes, we remember.
