Henry Meese

Henry Meese of Rifle died Sunday, June 26, 2016, in his home in Rifle. He was 75.

Henry was born September 22, 1940, in Leadville to William Meese and Elsie Walsh Meese. They moved to Rifle when Henry was 3 years old where began his love affair of the valley.

Henry loved the outdoors, traveling, history, photography, fishing, architecture, and arrowhead hunting.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, at the Rifle Funeral Home, 1400 Access Road in Rifle.

He will be put to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Leadville following the service.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
