In Loving MemoryRumaldo Macamiano “Mac” Trujillo

Mac passed away peacefully at his home on Red Dog Road, Crystal View Heights in Carbondale on Friday July 24, 2015. Mac was preceded in death eight days prior by his loving wife, Oclides Maria “Okie” Trujillo. They were married for 63 loving years, a true love story. Mac and Okie had eight children, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mac lived in Carbondale Colorado for over 45 years, where he worked for the Town of Carbondale at the water treatment plant until he retired. His hobbies were the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, ice racing and snowmobiling. His passion was reading any western novel, his favorite author Louis L’Amour.

Mac was a strong and compassionate man. Generous to his family and those in need, he never let a soul go without. Mac leaves behind his everlasting knowledge, and experiences. Mac also leaves behind his courage, strength and faith to those he cherished.

Mac would say; “Where’s your faith? You got to have faith; everything’s going to be okay. I got this!”

His family would like to say; “Adios Cowboy”

Celebration of Mac’s life will be held on August 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 205 Don Fernando Street, Taos, New Mexico.
