Ivone Munoz

Jan 10, 1973 – Dec 27, 2013

After a yearlong and courageous battle with kidney cancer, we lost our beloved Ivone Munoz. Survived by her children Kathy, Saulo, Lindsy and Isabela Vega, by her grandmother Paulita Lujan, her parents Carlos and Magdalena Munoz, her brother Ramiro Munoz, her sister Aide Rodriguez, her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and by her many colleagues and students. Always poised and well composed, Ivone lit up any room with her bright smile and self-confidence. Soccer was her vice, teaching her passion and her children her treasure. Ivone was a loving granddaughter, daughter, mother, sister, teacher and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was at peace around her children, at home in the classroom and fierce on the soccer field. Ivone need not spread her wings, for she always soared effortlessly. May all who miss her find comfort knowing that Ivone is now scoring goals in heaven.

Funeral services are yet to be announced.
