James (Jim) William Tabor (Jan. 1, 1944 — July 26, 2016)

Passed away peacefully at home in Rifle, CO. Survived by his children Connie (Geno) Karr, Wayne Tabor, Kris (Dave) Tabor-Nash, Suzi (Dannie) Tabor-Fugita and Jennifer (Russell) Barber. Grandchildren Amy, Ryan, Nicky, Mollie, Morgan, Michael, Kaylee, Diane, Dano, David, Talia, Bailey, 12 great grandchildren and his beloved Dog J.D. Five brothers Steve, Duane, Craig, Gary, and Bruce; five sisters Sharon, Donna , Bonnie, Cheryl and Kathy.

Predeceased by his parents Wayne Grant & Viola (Janning) Tabor, former spouse Jeaneen (Prihoda) Tabor, brother Eugene, sisters Delores, Pat and Marsha.

His birthplace was Austin, MN. He served in the US NAVY-USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN-CVA-39 – from 1961-1964.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling , Nascar #24 and family gatherings.

Cremation has taken place and there was no service per his request.
