James R. Klink

Jim passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27 from heart failure. Jim retired in 2002 from education as both teacher and administrator in Illinois, and he and his wife, Karen, moved to Battlement Mesa in 2003 to enjoy the Colorado lifestyle.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his feathered companion, Kelly, parents-in-law Don and Carol Hofling (Florida), sister-in-law Marlena (Indiana), brother-in-law Mark (Florida), cousins, and many friends.

There was a cremation, and his ashes will be spread in numerous places that he loved. There will be a celebration of his life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Karen requests that donations be made in his name to the Michael J Fox Foundation, the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg CO, or to the Grand Valley Historical Society, PO Box 363, Parachute CO, 81635.
