John Ambrose Mullane

John “Doc” Ambrose Mullane, 84, passed away suddenly in the company of his daughter Kelly, on July 2, 2016, while on vacation in Glenwood Springs, CO. He was a North Denver native, born to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mullane. A retired dentist serving both the US Air Force and his community in the Denver area, he enjoyed golfing and watching the Denver Broncos. John loved his large family and his many, many friends. He will always be remembered for his uncanny ability to recall a person’s name and family, bring joy to those around him with his infectious smile and always for being able to tell a funny story or a really good joke. He loved people and their personal stories. John was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Mullane, brother Raymond Mullane, sisters Margaret Beluscak and Agnes Brady, first wife Rose Mary (Day) Mullane and son David Joseph Mullane. He is survived by his remaining brothers, Bill and Ed Mullane, his sisters Rose Ellen Belfiore and Bridget Hufford, son Patrick Mullane, daughter Kelly Mullane (husband Rick Gendreau) and son Michael Mullane (wife Kellie), seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends list in the hundreds. Memorial service will be held at Ft. Logan Cemetery on Friday, August 12, 2016, at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Legion, Donation Processing, PO Box 1954, Indianapolis, IN 46206.
