John Glass (1952 – 2018)

John Glass, 66, a 30 year resident of Glenwood, died on October 24 in Valley View Hospital after a 12-day battle with pancreatic cancer.

Originally from Marion, Ohio, John is survived by his daughter, Heather Diehl and grandchildren Caitlin and Jaeger, all of Oregon; sister Peggy (Jerry) Kuntzman of Ohio, and many nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary Glass, brothers Dan and Frank all of Ohio.

Prior to his 30 years suffering with MS, John loved skiing, hiking, and boating which are the reasons he loved Colorado and made it his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, 10/29, from 6-7:30 pm at the Elks Lodge, Glenwood Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks Lodge, Glenwood.
