Johnny H. Peyton

Johnny H. Peyton, 67, of Silt passed away September 8, 2014 of health complications. John was born to the late Loren (Cal) and Margaret Peyton, May 17, 1947, in Denver. He is a longtime resident of Silt, soon after graduation he joined the army where he served as a medic in Vietnam. He was very talented he liked to fix or repair things from alarm clocks, to remodeling a house. John made many friends in the area and enjoyed helping and talking with them all. John is survived by his loving wife Darlene, daughter Shannon Novelo, two grandchildren Christopher and Julia, Brothers Edward, Robert, Lee and Melvin, and Sister Patricia. He is preceded in death by his brothers William and Gerald. There are no plans for a service. A family gathering will be planned at a later date for the placement of the ashes.
