Joseph E. Hupert

Joseph Edward Hupert, 55, of Rifle, Colo., passed away unexpectedly April 4, 2015, in Grand Junction, Colo.
Born April 1, 1960, he graduated from Au Gres-Sims in 1978 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Joe enjoyed riding his Harley through the mountains in Colorado with his fiancée Becky. He was employed with Master Petroleum, for which he also enjoyed driving through the mountains delivering fuel. He also enjoyed camping with the family.
Joe is survived by his fiancée, Becky Sorenson, and her two sons, Zephrey and Tanner Prestholt of Rifle, CO; son, Joseph Townley of Woodland Park, CO; his father, Edward Hupert of Au Gres, MI; sisters, Judy (David) Beechum of Standish, MI and Janet Walker of Tawas, MI; brother, James (Laura) Hupert of Au Gres, MI; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Hupert.
A memorial service was held at Fellowship of the Rockies, Rifle, CO April 10, 2015 with Pastor Albert officiating.
