Leon C. Spinden

Leon C. Spinden was born in Flint, MI on Sept. 13, 1940. He died unexpectedly at his home in Silt, CO on June 22, 2014. He is survived by his three children, Leon, Jr. (Sue) of Spring Grove, MN., Richard (Kerrii) of Rifle, CO, and Susan Perry (John) of Lakewood, CO; his daughter-in-law Tammy of New Castle, CO.; brother Albert of Firestone, CO.; sisters, Cora of Fairberry NE. and Darlene of Scottsdale, AZ.; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Irene, his sister Cecelia, and his son Kent of New Castle CO. Leon was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time fishing and hunting with his family. He will be sorely missed. Memorial Services will be held at Shepherd Hills Presbyterian Church, 115500 West 20th, Lakewood, CO 80215 on July 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. There will be a potluck lunch following the services at the American Legion 1655 Sims St., Lakewood CO.
