Loretta Wilkin

Loretta Wilkin passed away on Thanksgiving Day at LaVilla Grande Nursing home in Grand Junction. She was born to Lars and Anna Larson in Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Loretta supported her husband when he was a Battery Commander in World War II and a principal of many area schools in Denver.

Her Grandmother, Inger Bergland, from Bergen, Norway, was very important in her life. So was her second cousin Air Force General Lauris Norstad — Commander of NATO.

Loretta is survived by two daughters, Jeanne (Tim) Arnett Mesa, Colorado and M. Bodner (Dave) of Moab, Utah.
