Loyis Longfellow

Loy passed away peacefully on a beautiful spring morning.

Loy was born to Maxine and Clifton Pease in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with brothers Tom (Susan) and Nick (Barbara). Loy married Bob Dyke and had four children, Heidi, Johnathan (Natalie), Jane and Denise “Neicey” (Bob). She married Bob Longfellow, and they moved to Glenwood Springs.

Her home was the meeting place of many, was never boring and full of love. She introduced us to the music, arts, books, movies, politics and trends of the ever-changing times. She encouraged us to live life to its fullest. She was there when we fell on our faces but let us learn the lessons we needed to learn. She was the best mother a kid could ever have!

Loyis is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands and daughter Neicey. She is survived by her brothers, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Hospice of the Valley, or the Alzheimer’s Association, cards or letters to the family C/O J. Dyke, 1501 Railroad Ave. #13, Rifle, CO 81650.
