Margaret B. Ramsey

Margaret B. Ramsey passed away March 24, 2016, at E. Dene Moore Care Center in Rifle, Colorado. Margaret was born May 23, 1929, in Massena, New York, to John Molnar and Margaret Bandy, the oldest of four siblings. Margaret entered the workforce at the age of twenty as a legal secretary and spent twenty years as a secretary for The Boy Scouts of America. She loved cooking, sewing and making craft projects.

Mrs. Ramsey is preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret; her first husband, Harry Ayers, to whom she was married for sixteen years until his death in 1967; and her second husband, Robert Ramsey, to whom she was married for forty eight years until his death in October 2015. Margaret also lost an infant son, David Ayers in 1959 in Ogdensberg, New York.

Margaret is survived by her son, Vernon (Donna) Ramsey of Parachute; her daughter Lori (Willie) Williams of El Cajon, California; her siblings John Molnar of Waddington, New York, Mary Lou Russell of Brushton, New York, and Mildred Stark of Potsdam, New York; her grandchildren Nicole (Peter) Bonkrude, Steve Ryan and Sarah (Jonathon) Arehart; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date in Upstate New York.
