Margaret L. Wittwer

Margaret L. Wittwer, 92, passed away November 23, 2013. Margaret was born October 23, 1921, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Herman and Florence Harms. Margaret enjoyed traveling with family to places like Arizona, Maui, Alaska and Wisconsin. She loved the ranch and outings in the mountains. Above all she loved her babies and time spent with her family. Margaret is survived by her sons Bill (Jan) Wittwer of Pagosa Springs, CO, Jerry (Dona) Wittwer of Mancos, CO, and Les (Terry) Wittwer of Rifle, CO, daughters Elaine (Ken) Lowery of Rifle, CO, sisters Marie Paulus of Wisconsin, and Dorothy Kolfield of Bend, Oregon, eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl O. Wittwer, brothers Howard, Orville and Herman Jr., and sister Helen Grauberger. There will be a private memorial at a later date.
