Marvin Ferguson

Marvin Ferguson, 67, passed away Monday, May 30th, Memorial Day following a long illness. Marvin was born May 2nd, 1949 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado to Jack & Mary (Lamprecht) Ferguson and was a lifelong resident of Carbondale. He was a heavy equipment operator in the Roaring Fork Valley for many years. Marvin was a proud Marine and an active member of the American Legion Post 100 in Carbondale. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Mary, brothers Jack Harvey and Richard Noren and Kaye Donne. He leaves behind nephews Tom (Cindy) Ferguson, Terry Ferguson and nieces Elaine Walsh and Diana Ripoll. A remembrance of Marvin’s life is being planned for a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any memorials be sent to the American Legion Post 100 in Carbondale at 97 West 3rd Street, Carbondale, Colorado 81623.
