Mary “Kathy” Kathleen Slack (Tomlin)

Mary Kathleen Slack , (“Kathy” ) (Tomlin) born August 18th, 1954. She was 61. Kathy was born in Basehor, Kansas to Geneva and Lawrence Tomlin. She was raised by Robert J Powers and Geneva Powers (Tomlin). Kathy graduated from Lansing High School in 1972. She worked in the restaurant/bar business until 1989. Where she worked as a property manager/private housekeeper.

In 2011 Kathy was diagnosed with early onset dementia. Kathy passed on April 23rd, 2016. She is survived by her father; Robert J. Powers, three brothers- Mike, Russel, Lawrence Tomlin, and her sister Rita DeCarsky. She is also survived by her two children Linsey Harden and Casey Slack. She had four children, who were EVERYTHING to her. Lillie & Gavin Harden, Colton and Wyatt Slack. Kathy was a free spirit who always wore a smile. She made others smile with her quick wit and ornery sense of humor. Kathy’s imprint on her grandchildren will be passed on for eternity. She will be deeply missed.

A private service will be held at Glenwood Baptist Church in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. A celebration of life will be held June 11th, 2016 in Kansas.
