Myron A. Shoemaker

Myron A. Shoemaker of Carbondale passed away peacefully in Glenwood Springs on April 14, 2015. Myron was born December 8, 1929, in Victor, Colorado, to Lena (Somers) and Robert S. Shoemaker. Myron served proudly in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and fishing. He is survived by his wife Julia, son Dale Shoemaker, daughters, Manila (Wise), Karen (Peratt), Roberta Shoemaker, brother Robert N. Shoemaker of Canon City, Colorado, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Myron was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Lois Ferguson, and brother Harold Shoemaker.
