If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. Untimely death leaves a heartache that is unhealed. But, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Everyone, please love and hug your families “big” every single day, for you never know what tomorrow brings. Nick would agree, as he always loved, laughed, and smiled “big” and enjoyed spending quality time with close family and friends, especially his daughter, Halle Bear. His teddy bear personality, and kind, gentle soul will be sadly missed by many.

Nick is survived by his fiancée, Jacqueline Renee Daniels and their daughter, Halle Nicole Mellon, of Rifle, Colorado; his father, Micheal Mellon, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; his mother and stepfather, Kristen (Goodrich) and Randall Tarufelli, of Rifle, Colorado; two sisters, Keilah Mellon, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and Miranda Tarufelli, of Rifle, Colorado; two brothers, Nate Mellon, of Rifle, Colorado, and Kameron Mellon, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; paternal grandmother, Martha Gindt, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; maternal grandparents, Kelly and Binky Goodrich, of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
