Obituary: Betty Jo Lynch

June 8, 1931 – March 24, 2013

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Betty Jo Lynch passed away March 24, 2013, surrounded by her family. Betty was born on June 8, 1931 in Montrose, Colorado to William and Anita Givens. She was the youngest of seven children. She married Dick Lynch September 1, 1960 in Montrose, Colorado. Betty enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was an avid Denver Broncos football fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois Logan, brothers Robert, Donald, George, Hugh and Fred Givens. Betty is survived by her husband Dick Lynch of Rifle, children Lynn (Ray) Miller of Rifle and Bill (Liz) of Kenair, Alaska, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. There will be a private family service held. A memorial fund has been set up in Betty’s name at Alpine Bank.
