Bruce Kochevar passed away November 17th in Grand Junction, CO. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Bruce was born July 31,1948 in Denver, CO to Stanley and Emma Mary (Marron) Kochevar. He was raised in Glenwood Springs, and enjoyed lasting friendships and memories of his years there as well as those in Grand Junction.
He graduated from C.S.U. with an Industrial Arts Degree. Bruce had several careers; builder, store owner, sales/manager, insurance agent, office manager and a real estate Broker. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, fishing & woodworking as well as time in the mountains.
Bruce will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 20 years, Carmen (Mayfield/Roy) Kochevar, who was devoted to him and his care. Bruce and Jan Bullock had two sons, Justin & Jarrod. Bruce cherished Justin (Nikki) and Jarrod (Jocelyn) and his five grandchildren who live in Castle Valley. He loved his stepson Garett Roy (Jenny) and grandson. Bruce is also survived by his uncle, George Marron, of Missouri.
Bruce will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. In lieu of a funeral, Bruce wanted his ashes spread in the mountains.
