While enjoying herself on vacation to Yellowstone National Park for a belated birthday celebration, Julie unexpectedly passed away in her sleep.
Julie always had a sense of adventure and at the age of 18 she enlisted in the Army. She served her country from 1986-1989 in that time she also completed her Paratrooper schooling, she was Honorably Discharged.
Upon her return home she gave birth to her first child in 1990. Julie then went on to live a very full and charismatic life! She married in 1997 and went on to have her second child in 1998 and her third in 2003. Julie also gained to wonderful step-sons from her marriage to (ex)-husband John Farnham.
Julie has now gained her second wings and joined her beloved mother and many other passed members of the Hurst family. She will forever be loved and missed by her children Mariah Hurst, her favorite granddaughter Reylynn Hurst, Terran (Taylor) Hurst-Farnham, Kalyn Hurst-Farnham, two step-sons Daniel Farnham and Josh Farnham, ex-husband John Farnham along with her father Joe Hurst and her 6 sisters and brother.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 11th 2023 at the Hurst home in El Jebel starting at 11:00 a.m.
The Hurst family asks that in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to a Veteran Program of choosing.
