In Loving Memory of Margaret “Marge” Marie Thiel
With great sadness, we share the passing of Margaret “Marge” “Margie” Marie Thiel. Marge was an extraordinary woman of great depth, resilience, and warmth.
During the 1980s and 1990s, she was the proud owner and proprietor of Body and Soul in the King Mall, where she built a successful business selling lotions and potions for 22 years. Arriving in the area in the ’80s with her two small sons, Tony and Ryan Thiel, she worked tirelessly to support her family, taking on roles including an electrician at the Mid Continent Mine.
With the help of friends and family, she also built her beautiful home, a testament to her determination and creativity. More than just a home, it was a sanctuary for all who visited and, most importantly, for herself—a place of comfort, beauty, and peace that reflected her generous and nurturing spirit.
Marge was predeceased by her loving son, Tony Thiel, who was a source of immense joy in her life. She leaves behind a cherished legacy in the hearts of her life partner, Jamie Olson; sister, Lou Musser; brother, David Ryan; and son, Ryan Thiel.
A celebration of her life will be held this spring at Meadow Lake, where family and friends will gather to share memories and, undoubtedly, the many funny stories that reflect the spirit of this remarkable woman. Her ashes will be released to reunite with those of her beloved son, Tony.
To receive an invitation to the celebration, please contact Andrea Bersson at akb927@gmail.com.
Marge’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
