August 4, 1937 – September 2, 2023

Ralph Hubbell, formerly of Carbondale and a well-known businessman in Glenwood Springs, passed away in Grand Junction on September 2, 2023. Ralph graduated high school in Montrose in 1955, then finished his Master’s in Education at Western State in 1960, which was the same year he married Connie Savage, his wife of 63 years. He began his career as a coach and teacher in Glenwood, then was the principal at schools in Basalt, Rifle, and New Castle. He started a new career with State Farm Insurance in 1976 until his retirement. He is survived by Connie, who now lives in Cedaredge; son Pat and wife DeLynn; Debra Alexander and husband Donald; and son Gary and wife Doris, as well as four grandchildren. Services will be held at the Methodist Church in Cedaredge on September 30, 10 a.m.
