Obituary: Robert Flohr

Robert Kenneth Flohr passed on to Heaven on February 5th, 2025, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Robert was born and raised in Kansas. After graduating from North Central Kansas Vo-Tech School, he met the love of his life, JoAnn “Bunker” Flohr, in Garden City, Kansas. They were married in 1972
and would eventually move to New Castle, Colorado in 1977. They would settle on a ranch outside of Rifle, Colorado in 1982, where they would remain. Robert and JoAnn made a life together farming the hay fields, ranching and raising 3 kids, 5 grand kids, and 1 great grandchild. Robert could be seen driving tractors and equipment through the towns of Rifle and Silt. He was an active member
of the community as past president of the Garfield County Fair Board, the Colorado Quarter Horse Association and the Northwest High School Rodeo Club. Robert’s hard work and love of the western lifestyle still lives on through his family. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life ceremony on February 21st, 2025, at 3 p.m. at:
