Richard Ciprich

Richard Ciprich (Dick), long-time owner of the White Buffalo restaurant in Battlement Mesa, died May 26, at the age of 76.
Dick is survived by his partner, Margaret Cooke of Battlement Mesa, three children,four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother, and a sister. He is predeceased by his oldest son.
Dick was a professional bowler on the PBA Tour and PBA Senior Tour and was inducted into the Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. Dick and Margaret owned the White Buffalo restaurant from 2003-2010. Dick initiated numerous fundraising events for the community including Multiple Sclerosis and the Kiwanis/Alive-at-25 program. The restaurant was awarded the Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year” award for all of their many activities dedicated to the community.
