Ritsuo “Rancho” Itao (April 11, 1931 — October 10, 2018)

Ritsuo “Rancho” Itao, born on April 11, 1931 in Ewa, Hawaii, passed away on October 10, 2018, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is survived by his Wife of 59 years, Rita; three Sons, Peter (Tracy) Itao, Gary (Nancy) Itao, Michael (Sharyn) Itao, and Daughter Heidi (Christian) Colburn; 7 Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Atsuko (John) Iguchi and Leatrice (Yoshio) Yukinaga; and numerous Nephews and Nieces. He served 20 years in the Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. His Awards include the Bronze Star Commendation Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and numerous other awards. He was a proud member of the Old Soldiers of Hawaii. Memorial Burial Service will be held at the Punchbowl Cemetery (National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific) on December 10, 2018, at 9:30am. Please no Flowers.
