Rodney Thomas Chapman

Thomas Chapman, 62, passed away peacefully the morning of May 27th, at E Dene Moore Care Center in Rifle, Colorado. Born May 29th, 1953, to ET Chapman and Virginia (Boltzen) Chapman, in Pittsburg, CA, he is survived by his sisters Kathleen Griffith (Randy) and Karen Giles; niece Michelle Williams (Doug, Lexi, Zac, Alex), niece Suzanne Giles (great-nieces Bob and Pete), nephew Casey Griffith (Christina, Sierra, Mariah, Tessa) and niece Miranda Griffith; and too many adopted brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and best friends to mention. Rodney attended school for training in accounting, but had a very successful (and by successful, we mean FUN) career in recycled auto parts in Sacramento, working at College Auto Parts, Chatfield’s Camaros Plus, Recycle Road, and U Pull It. He’d always longed to work in the funeral business, which he was able to do for a couple years at Cochrane’s Funeral Home before falling ill. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, June 3rd, at 6PM, at Rifle Funeral Home in Rifle, CO. In lieu of flowers, go have a drink with your favorite uncle!
