Scott Van Davis

Scott Van Davis was born to H. Martin and Doris Davis on March 9, 1964, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Even with Down syndrome he was able to live a full and active life. He was educated through the public school system and competed in Special Olympics during his younger years. Scotty was an extremely popular member of Mesa Developmental Services for over 40 years until he moved to Glenwood Springs in 2010 to be closer to his family. He always made everyone smile! He passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014, at the age of 50. He will be sorely missed by his mother, two brothers and many nieces and nephews. His memorial will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel located at 409 29th St., Glenwood Springs, CO. Everyone is welcome to attend.
