Sue Mueller

Sue Mueller, 92, died on July 29, 2015, in Westminster, CO. She was born in Eureka, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mueller, two brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Richard Mueller (Ursula), her daughter, Bette Roecker (Ross), and her grandchildren, Austin Roecker (Laura) and Brian Roecker.

Sue graduated college at North Dakota University in Bismark, ND. She was a Registered Nurse in Hot Springs, SD, where she met Edward Mueller. They married in 1946 and lived in Custer, SD. They moved to Glenwood Springs, CO, lived there for 27 years, then moved to Pueblo, where Edward worked at Parkview Hospital and Sue volunteered.

Sue was a PEO member for 50 years. Both Sue and Ed were active members of the Methodist Church, and worked with the Scholarship Fund of the Methodist Church in Pueblo, CO.

Sue was an excellent cook and gardener. She loved to ski, and was on the slopes well into her senior years. She enjoyed golf, and was delighted to get two holes in one at the Pueblo Country Club. They had many wonderful friends from Glenwood and Pueblo, who traveled and golfed with them during their retirement.

The family expresses our deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Sunrise of Westminster and Agape Hospice. A private Memorial will be held at a later date.
