Tim Stephen Rosette

Tim Stephen Rosette ended his battle with cancer on December 24, 2015, peacefully with family by his side at the VA Living Center in Grand Junction Colorado. Tim was 76 years old.

Tim was born in Palisade, Colorado, on November 16, 1939, to Daniel Bryant and Anna Lodema (Harris) Rosette. He graduated high school in Palisade in 1957. He joined the Air Force and served from 1958-1960. After the Air Force he worked for Public Service Company in Denver, Colorado. Tim married Donna Jean Gravestock of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, on February 27, 1961. He transferred to Shoshone Power Plant in Glenwood Canyon in 1964 and later moved his family to a small farm on Silt Mesa. He pursued his passion in 1978 and started Tim’s Tools Hardware on Main Street in Silt.

Tim loved to hunt and fish and traveled many places making lifelong friends everywhere he went. Tim enjoyed trap shooting and did very well at it.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents Dan & Anna Rosette, brother Daniel Rosette and granddaughter Teal LaRay Harper and is survived by his brother Walt Rosette of Mesa, Arizona; children Dan Rosette of Grand Junction, Tami Kalmon and Kimberly Reed of Silt; grandchildren Tatum & Trace Harper, Mallory Rosette, Tim Kalmon and Taz Milton; and great-grandson Vinny Ray Friel.

Services will be held in Grand Junction, Colorado, at the Veterans Cemetery of Western Colorado at 3pm on Friday, January 8, 2016.
