Walter A. Ferguson

Ferguson, Walter A. “Walt”, 66, of Seffner, Florida, passed away December 1, 2014, after a long and very brave battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

He was a wonderful husband, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed.

He was born in Mineral Springs, Texas, raised in Burlington and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in Colorado.

He worked in the auto parts industry and in residential construction. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and photography.

Walt was preceded in death by his father, Walter Vernon Ferguson, and his mother Lela Hazel Dodds-Scott. He married the love of his life, Cathy Aylstock, on June 21, 1997, who survives him along with other beloved family members; Daniel D. (Denise) Ferguson, Anna Lou (Dean) Fortik, Albert L. (Jeanie) Ferguson, along with several nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

There will be a private celebration of his life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations in his name to the Salvation Army of Tampa, Florida or Metropolitan Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
