William “Bill” Cox

Our Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Best Friend went to be in Heaven, Tuesday, Sept.16, 2014. He passed at HopeWest Hospice.

He was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, from the union of Alice Artaz and Gene Cox and grew up in New Castle and attended Rifle High School. Bill married Cari Davis and their union created a daughter Teran. They later divorced; however they remained close friends.

Bill was a construction plasterer and enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his grandkids and his Hot Rod, Coupe. He loved his grandkids with all his heart and to them he was “PAPA.”

Bill was the sweetest and most gentle loving man; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone!

Bill leaves behind his daughter Teran (Jeff) Brondum and grandchildren Kylee, Cace and Izabel, all of Clifton, Colorado; sister Robin Cox Wagoner of Grand Junction; and three brothers, Wade Cox of Grand Junction, Cliff Cox of Colorado Springs, and Ashley Cox of Rifle. Bill was also a Great Uncle to Milena, Raeanya, Gigli and Giada, and had many nieces and nephews whom he loved and who loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Martin Mortuary.
