William Maierfeldt, Jr.

William Maierfeldt, Jr., passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

Sergeant E5 Maierfeldt served our country as a Marine from 1955-1961. Bill graduated from Jacksonville University in Florida with a major in Mathematics. He is survived by his wife, Norma Monnig of Battlement Mesa, where they have resided since 2013. His passions included knives, guns and he had a love for all animals. We salute you, Sergeant Maierfeldt, and will truly miss you.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Battlement Mesa Cemetery in Parachute, Colorado.
