Wilma P Rodda

Wilma Rodda recently passed away during the quiet of the night after a long life. She was employed for most of her adult life and raised three daughters during an era when employed mothers were a rarity. She is remembered for her beauty and her meticulous style. Two of her grandchildren were fortunate to have her near for most of their lives. Travis and Bethany recollect that she always found time for them, always had a treat for them, always made them feel special. Travis recalls that she made the best spaghetti meat sauce ever.

She is now reunited with her husband of 62 years, Ray Rodda. She is survived by her four siblings (KS and AZ), daughters Beth Hill (TX), Connie (Ken) Druff (CA), Jan Krische and beloved son-in-law, Gil Krische (Glenwood Springs). In addition to Travis Owen (Glenwood Springs) and Bethany (Andrzej) Ostrowski (Sydney, Australia), she leaves six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Wilma relied for years on The Traveler for transportation. Her memory may be honored with a donation to The Traveler, c/o Garfield County Human Services, 108 8th Street, Suite 300, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
