Winifred June Mallett

Winifred June Mallett, born in Mancos, Co., in 1917 to Charles Brown Neeley and Anna Mae Flesher Neeley, passed away at the age of 98 on July 30, 2015.

She married Elbert Mallett in Mancos in 1937. Together they raised 4 children. Winnie kept books for their family-owned Chevrolet dealerships in Western Colorado.

Winnie was one of eight children and the last remaining member of her immediate family to make the final journey into her Savior’s merciful, loving arms. She passed quietly into the afterlife at the Chateau with family at her side. She is survived by her children, Gary (Marian) Mallett, Judi (Bill) Pickett, Ray (Valerie) Mallett and Jennifer (Leon) Wooley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed.

A private service will be held at a later date.
