Paul Cutright, 59, of Silt, died Tuesday July 15, 2008, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver after a brief illness. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in petroleum engineering.

After the oil bust in the 1980s, he moved to the Glenwood Springs area. He started his new career of construction in 1989. He was employed as a project manager for Clearwater Construction Management in Carbondale at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Christie, of Silt; son George of Washington State; daughter Hilary of Arizona; brother Mark of Denver; and father Ed of Denver.

In lieu of flowers, Paul wished that a tree or bush be planted in his honor.

No services are planned, but in his honor Paul wanted a party, which will be held in Silt in late August.
